A spice made from dried and crushed Halaby peppers, primarily sourced from the Aleppo region in Syria and parts of Turkey.

FLAVOR PROFILE
Mildly spicy with sweet, fruity notes and a hint of cumin and saltiness. Has a subtle smokiness and a moderate heat level that lingers softly.
TEXTURE PROFILE
Coarse and flaky, with a texture similar to that of crushed red pepper. When hydrated or mixed with oil, becomes slightly soft and paste-like.
Culinary Uses
  • Sprinkle & Season: Used as a finishing spice, often sprinkled over dishes for a mild heat and fruity undertone.
